John Talks to Alan from Redmond About Medicaid and Food Stamps

On Thursday while discussing the part-time work requirements to qualify for Medicaid in Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill", John asserted that able bodied Americans should just "find a job" if they want benefits.   Alan from Redmond texted in saying it's not that easy as he's been unemployed and searching for work for 8 months as a highly qualified tech worker.   Alan joined the show Friday to was able to give John some boots on the ground perspective on what the job market is really like for people like himself right now and John was able to connect him with a friend who helped launch Microsoft into a tech behemoth.
