Wiseguys Comedy Club owner Keith Stubbs is joined by stand-up comedian, Sean Patton, to talk about his upcoming comedy album with Helium Records, why there aren't very many clubs in the country where you can truly be yourself, and the highs and lows of starting his career in New Orleans.
Then Sean describes how he got into comedy after dropping out of college, the moment Zach Galifinakis told him that he had to leave the city to excel in comedy back in 2005, and his experience with Hurricane Katrina.
Lastly, we talk about his decision to move to New York, his comedic idols growing up, all of the support he gets from his parents, and how he crafts his sets.

Keith Stubbs knows what it is like to bomb at a club, including his own. He also knows what it’s like to get an audience roaring with laughter and ride the wave until people are holding their sides. Keith owns three comedy clubs, Wiseguys, so he knows his stuff. “Have You Met…” introduces you to the funniest people. Each week you’ll find out what is behind their comedic brilliance, which is sometimes more tragic than funny. Always delightful. Always interesting conversations.
