The KSL Investigative team is taking a closer look into the practice of seclusion rooms in Utah Schools. Seclusion rooms can isolate a student in a small room for up to 30 minutes. Seclusion is only allowed if the student presents an immediate danger to themselves or others. KSL-TV Investigative Reporter Courtney Johns shares what she learned through her investigation and Utah Senator Luz Escamilla joins the show to discuss the Utah law addressing seclusion and changes in place this year.
