Utah's Housing affordability crisis

$559,200 that's the median home price in Utah... it went up 25k from last year. Utah's in a housing shortage, which opens the front door for an affordability crisis -- will the younger generation be able to afford a home here? This was a hot topic during last night's debate and the candidate's for Utah's governor have different approaches to dealing with the housing crisis. Dave and Debbie discuss what came from the debate and speak with Steve Waldrip, Senior Advisor for Housing Strategy and Innovation with the governor's office about where things are at with the initiative to bringing more starter homes to Utah. Libertarian Candidate for governor, Rob Latham, joins the show to explain more detail about the free to build initiative, that was brought up in the debate.
