We have mandatory ACT prep in 9th grade. Junior Appreciation Day 4 hour test 2000 colleges and universities don't require ACT or SAT scores. 1.4M kids take the ACT. .0025 of those kids get a perfect score. Is this testing still needed? Jami Caldwell, whose child scored perfectly on the ACT but didn't get into his choice school joins the discussion.   Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Steve Robinson with the University of Utah joins the show to discuss why they have scaled back the testing requirement for admission and what is specifically looked at when it comes to college acceptance.
