Episode Description

Utah Division of Wildlife Resources conservation officers are seeking information after a bald eagle was shot near Cedar City in February. The injured bald eagle was discovered in Cedar City on Feb. 29. Responding conservation officers discovered that the eagle had been shot through the wing with what appeared to be a rifle. Unfortunately, the injuries were severe, and it was determined that the eagle would not recover, resulting in it needing to be euthanized.

Capt. Chad Bettridge, Law Enforcement Officer for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources joins the show to discuss more into what happened and the consequences that can come with harming a bald eagle.
