For the 2nd time in two days... we learned about a teen who broke into their parent's gun safe and took the gun to school.
First KSL TV's Lindsay Aerts talked to the school resource officer in Lehi who said a student had planned his suicide at school, but a student alerted the vice-principal and they intervened with the student and got them help.
The student got the gun by stealing the key to their parents safe. We've now learned that a 15-year-old at Roy High School brought a loaded gun to school and it was found in his waistband. "The student said he retrieved the weapon from his father’s locked gun safe without his parent’s knowledge." according to Roy City Police. Both are different incidents, and no shots were fired, but it brings up the question - If a child takes the gun from their parents... are the parents responsible for what happens next? KSL Legal Analyst, Greg Skordas joins the show.
What happens when a seasoned, award-winning investigative journalist and a well-known and very funny sports reporter get together to talk about news and politics? Dave Noriega and Debbie Dujanovic, also known as D2, join forces, mornings on KSL Newsradio.
