Tina Turner was born on this day

On this day in 1939, American singer Tina Turner was born. The Queen of Rock n Roll became known for songs "Proud Mary" and "What's Love Got to Do With It" among many others. Turner notably launched her career as a husband and wife duo before making a solo comeback in the 80's.
