Episode Description

We hear a lot about culture wars in schools - gender, book banning, critical race theory, politics. KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson sits down with three teachers this week to ask them what culture wars they've seen in their classrooms and schools. Kim Gardner has been a teacher for 33 years in both elementary and middle school. Dr. DeLaina Tonks is a former teacher and now Executive Director of Mountain Heights Academy. Jill Atwood is a communications strategist for the VA and an adjunct professor of communication at the University of Utah.
