BYU's Greatest Players: RB Jeff Blanc from the 1974 Fiesta Bowl team

To celebrate BYU's 100th season, KSL Sports BYU Insider caught up with legendary players such as running back Jeff Blanc from the 1974 team that played in BYU football's first-ever bowl game.

Few collegiate football programs have a history as fabled as BYU’s. The Cougars squared off in their first official football game – with brutal rules and no protective gear – on October 7th, 1922. They were obliterated. 

Fast forward 100 years, and BYU is set to enter the Big 12 Conference.
