Fighting Recidivism

We all love our routines don’t we? Schedules, lifestyles, habits, it can be hard to break them – especially start over. Think about what it might be like for those who are released after extended stays in prison – talk about life change, right? Well, how do they get back on their feet? That’s just it – many times they don’t. They wind up picking up right back where they left off only to wind up in prison again. Joy Carswell has a passion to help change that in Western North Carolina.
